Rich history and culture, developed economy, high-quality educational environment, and complete medical and social welfare are all reasons why in recent years, immigrants to Europe have gradually replaced the United States and Canada, the traditional major immigration countries. In addition to business needs, it is more about providing children with more resources and choices in education or culture. Half of the top 10 universities in the world are from Europe - University of Cambridge, University of Oxford, University College London, Imperial College London, ETH Zurich, etc. They are all well-known colleges in medicine, law, business, and science and engineering.
Mr. Liu, who holds a Hong Kong passport, received a British education since he was a child. He did business in Europe as an adult. Due to his work, he often traveled around Europe. He saw a lot of development and education in Europe. He longed to live in Europe one day or let his children study in Europe and experience the beauty of Europe.
One day I mentioned this idea while chatting with my wife. She thought it was a good idea. After a while, she started doing homework online, found Uni Immigration and went to consult. The consultant learned that the couple liked the environment and life in Europe, especially the United Kingdom and its culture, so he suggested that the family immigrate. Consultant's explanation: Mr. Liu often does business in Europe. Obtaining a British residence visa will not only allow Mr. Liu to move easily within the EU, but also save a lot of waiting periods, fees for visa applications, or the trouble of having to return to the country when the visa expires! The couple's two children are still young and are studying in primary school and junior high school respectively. When they get the permanent residence visa, the children will almost go to college. Compared with studying abroad, children who immigrate to Europe can not only adapt to the local environment earlier, but the tuition fees for EU members are more favorable, and they can also enjoy various benefits such as EU passports. It is also considered that if the children want to study certain subjects in the UK (such as doctors, lawyers, etc.) in the future, they must have a temporary residence permit or a permanent residence permit to practice locally.
The couple went home and discussed for a while, and finally chose the UK's £2 million investment immigration program. As long as they live in the UK for six years and nine months each year, they can apply for permanent residence and then apply for citizenship.
▲ Special attention should be paid to this plan: if a child also wants to obtain a British passport, the whole family must meet the residence requirements. If one of the parents cannot meet the residence requirements, the child will not be able to obtain a British passport.
