Introduction to New Zealand Investment Immigration

New Zealand has attracted much attention in recent years as an immigrant country. With its high quality of life, livable environment and sound social system, it attracts people from all over the world to settle there. It has a complete medical care system, free public education, comprehensive social welfare, good public security and political stability, making it suitable for living in the early years. New Zealand attaches great importance to the protection of the natural environment and the quality of life. The city and the natural landscape are closely integrated, allowing people to achieve an ideal balance between work and life. The society's high tolerance for multiculturalism helps new immigrants quickly integrate into the community; in addition, New Zealand's tax system is transparent and simple, and there is no inheritance tax, gift tax, stamp duty or value-added tax, making it a potential market for investors.

Active Investor Upgrade Visa
In order to attract high-net-worth individuals to invest in the local economy, New Zealand will launch the "Active Investor Upgraded Visa" on April 1, 2025, replacing the previous traditional investment immigration system. Compared with the old system, the new policy is more flexible and the threshold is flexible. Applicants can choose the "increasing category" or "balanced category" investment method based on the amount of capital and risk preference. The scope covers funds, corporate direct investment, real estate development and charitable donations, etc. The most attractive feature of this visa is the low residency threshold; in addition, applicants do not need to have proof of English proficiency, and they can also apply together with their spouse and children.
